ServiceDesk 4.8.300 Release Announcement

ServiceDesk software, Version 4.8.300, released on January 30, 2025, in conjunction with SD-MobileLink, Version 2.0.144, improves ServiceDesk’s automated job upload process.

Improved Job Update Processing

When particular changes are made to job records, ServiceDesk automatically flags the information to be updated online during the next SD-MobileLink cycle. These changes include UIS changes, part additions, and office created attention notes. If you’ve made other changes to the job record that do not trigger an automatic update, you can force a re-upload of information. This can be done by executing a control + right click on the scheduling button found in a job record (F7). The job record will then be updated during the next SD-MobileLink cycle.   

This release adds any change to the customer’s core data, such address, telephone number, spelling of the customer’s name, et cetera, to the automated reupload process.

Other minor fixes and improvements found in this version update are:

• Enabled smart auto life expiry processes to SD-MobileLink to prevent expiration when the user is already on the most current licensed software version.
