RSS - how to fix a "black screen"

If you receive an "all-black screen" when connecting to your RSS server, please try this troubleshooting step to resolve the issue.

  • Open the Remote Desktop Connection program.

  • Before connecting, click 'Show Options' (at the bottom left).

  • Click the 'Experience' tab.

  • Uncheck the 'Persistent bitmap caching.'

  • Press "Connect" to connect to the RSS server.
