Password reset: client responsibilities
Due to security precautions, we prohibit our general support team from manipulating certain aspects of the ServiceDesk user's passwords. Most of the tasks requested of the Rossware support team regarding password administration should fall under the direct responsibilities of the business owner or office manager. When assigning a person to the office manager role within the business, they should be made aware of the responsibilities accompanying that role.
General administrative tasks such as, but not limited to, the changing of passwords, creating or removing desk users, and password permissions should fall upon the business owner or office manager.
However, fulfilling these responsibilities may not be simple for some users. If further guidance is needed, the business owner or office manager can contact Rossware support by email (support@rossware.com) or phone (800-353-4101).

To allow us to assist the office manager in this context, please have the business owner contact us beforehand and notify us that this office manager has the right to administrate user passwords.
Tip
For your protection, it is our practice to provide passwords via email to the primary email address on the account. We will not provide passwords over the phone.
